About Us

The Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association serves the interests of over 80 hotels throughout the Delaware Valley. Our members employ over 14,000 residents with over 30,000 guestrooms. GPHA has three member categories, Hotels, Allied Members, and Student Members.

GPHA's mission is to foster increased profitability in member hotels through increased room nights, higher average daily rate, and higher revenue per available room (RevPar). GPHA accomplishes these goals through six primary areas of involvement – Civic Representation, Events, Government Relations, Human Resources/Education, Networking, and Research.

Over the last two decades, GPHA has established itself as the leader in the Greater Philadelphia Hotel community and industry. GPHA has grown membership every year since our inception in 1988 and will continue to expand our outreach as the Delaware Valley continues to flourish as a premier destination for tourists, conventioneers, and corporate travelers.
